Much has been reported about the role of mercury compounds in clinical medicine and pathology. However, it is not uncommon to find reports on the mechanisms by which mechanisms inhibit the biological function of mercury compounds when they enter the body. In this study, mouse embryonic neuroblastoma and glioma cells were used to study the effects of methylmercury and inorganic mercury on the DNA synthesis and the transport of DNA precursors in these cells. Experimental mouse glioma cells (SR-CDF DBT) and neuroblastoma cells C-1300 (line N-18) were cultured in minimal essential medium containing 10% fetal bovine serum minimal essential medium and Dulbecco’s modified Medium (10% CO_2, 36.5 ℃) for 1 to 2 days. Then 2.0 ml of phosphorus
