利用BiblioFile的USMARC建立西文期刊联合目录数据库是图书情报机构采用的一种有效的方法。本文就西文期刊数据的USMARC与CNMARC格式间的转换问题进行了深入的探讨，并通过实践证明了这种格式转换的方法迅速且行之有效，数据准确达到了要求。该问题的解决具有一定的实际意义。
Using BiblioFile’s USMARC to establish a joint catalog database of Western journals is an effective method adopted by the LIS. In this paper, the translation between the USMARC and CNMARC formats of Western periodical data is discussed in depth, and the method of this format conversion is proved to be rapid and effective through practice, and the data accuracy meets the requirements. The solution to this problem has some practical significance.
