LED是Light Emitting Diode的简写,它属于固态光源范畴,是一种将电能转化为光能的半导体发光器件。LED发光二极管又被称为发射二极管,它的发光材料是固体半导体的芯片,在芯片的两端加上正向电压时半导体中的流子会出现复合现象,进而释放出过剩能量使光子发射可见光。现阶段,随着我国LED技术的不断成熟、相关驱动电路的成熟以及LED价格的不断降低,再加上在节能消耗掉的大环境下使得LED技术在照明领域有着广阔的发展前景。
