采用两种Si3N4刀具在普通车床上对CrWMn和45#钢进行切削试验,并用SEM,EDAX,XPS等方法对刀具的磨损进行分析。结果指出:试验的陶瓷刀具材料在切削不同淬硬钢时均存在最佳切削速度。与FD01相比,FD02陶瓷刀具有更佳的切削性能,最佳切削速度可提高78%。在最佳速度以下切削,刀具侧面将发生粘着磨损;在最佳速度以上,则被加工材料产生微区熔化,导致材料的大面积转移,发生剥层磨损。最佳速度以下切削,粘着将引起刃部发生快速层状剥落;高于最佳速度,会由于刃部脆性断裂使刀具失效。在最佳速度下切削,为抛光式磨损
Two kinds of Si3N4 tools were used to cut CrWMn and 45 # steel on the common lathe. The wear of the tool was analyzed by SEM, EDAX and XPS. The results show that: the test of ceramic tool material in the cutting of different hardened steel, there is the best cutting speed. Compared with FD01, FD02 ceramic knife has better cutting performance, the best cutting speed can be increased by 78%. Cutting below the optimum speed will result in adhesive wear on the side of the tool; above the optimum speed, the material being processed will melt in a localized area causing large area transfer of material and delamination wear. Cutting below the optimum speed, adhesion will cause the blade rapid layer exfoliation; more than the best speed, due to blade brittle fracture of the tool failure.
