Objective: To study the protective effect of Angelica sinensis polysaccharide ASP3 on subchronic radiation-induced injury in mice. Methods: Angelica sinensis polysaccharide ASP3 was used as the test substance, 60Coγ-ray was used to induce low-dose subchronic whole body irradiation in mice. The number of leukocytes, the number of splenic lymphocytes, Rate, micronucleus rate of bone marrow polychromatic erythrocytes (PCE), sperm deformity rate and testicular SOD activity and MDA content. Results: ASP3 could significantly promote the recovery of leukocytes in peripheral blood of mice with sub-chronic radiation damage and effectively inhibit the formation of micronuclei and sperm degeneration in PCE, promote the transformation and growth of spleen lymphocytes, Peroxidation levels, enhance the body’s radiation tolerance. Conclusion: Angelica polysaccharides have a certain anti-radiation function, the sub-chronic radiation injury mice have a good protective effect.
