A study from the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) may be helpful to suppliers who suspect the success of Chinese equipment makers and telecom service providers looking for new competitors in India. The study, entitled “The New Global Challenger,” surveys the top 100 companies in developing countries, shows that some of the new global giants in these economies across the economy are evolving. The report shows that from 2000 to 2004, the 100 companies average annual growth rate of 24%, 10 times the U.S. GDP and 24 times the growth rate of Japan’s GDP. BCG believes they rank among the top 100 in the list of 10 largest markets and the most internationalized companies in the 10 markets
