这里曾经是石板场、石灰厂、垃圾场、非煤矿山,一片疮痍,让人远而避之。然而,几经智慧和心血的打造,这里化腐朽为神奇,成为让人流连忘返的绿色氧吧。这就是北宫国家森林公园。凡到过北京的人一定知道香山,但是未必知道北宫国家森林公园(以下简称“北宫”)。当秋红了香山,下一个就是北宫了。北宫位于北京市丰台区西北部山区,距市中心20公里,是丘陵型自然风景区,因帝王憩地而得名。北宫始建于2002年10月,2005年12月被国家林业局正式批准为国家级森林公园,2008年4月被批准为4A级旅游景区。

Beijng was built in October 2002, December 2005 by the State Forestry Administration formally approved as a national forest park, in April 2008 was approved as 4A-level tourist attractions.
