中性粒细胞是人体先天免疫系统的重要效应细胞,具有细胞内与细胞外杀灭病原体的途径.活化中性粒细胞能形成胞外诱捕网(NETs)构成细胞外杀灭途径.NETs由染色质与颗粒(源性)蛋白质构成.NETs对革兰氏阳性细菌、革兰氏阴性细菌,以及真菌有捕获与杀灭作用,对利什曼原虫、牛艾美耳球虫等寄生虫也有捕获与杀灭作用.
