Last year, there were two remarkable phenomena in the consumption of residents in Beijing: one was the selling of cars and houses; the other was the steady growth of commodity consumption and the marked increase of service consumption. This reflects that the consumption of urban and rural residents in Beijing is undergoing profound and important changes. The consumption structure of residents is rapidly escalating.
