非言语交际是交际过程中的一个重要组成部分。非言语交际行为既有其广义定义,又有在英语课堂教学中的狭义定义。在外语课堂教学中,教师要恰当地运用体态语、目光语、身体距离等非言语交际行为来创造逼真的语言环境,激活学生思维,融洽师生关系,增强学生的学习动机,特别是教师要注意学生的非言语行为,及时做出教学反馈,进而提高教学质量。教师还要采取一些策略来真正地实施非言语交际行为的教学,充分表明了非言语交际在英语教学中的重要性和不容忽视性。
Nonverbal communication is an important part of the communication process. Nonverbal communication has both its broad definition and its narrow definition in English classroom teaching.
