<正> 山西应县佛富寺释迦塔,即通称应县木塔,建于辽清宁二年(1056年),高67.31米,是我国现存最古老最高大的木结构塔式建筑。1974年在木塔四层主佛——释迦牟尼塑像内发现一批辽代遗珍,同时在一层高约11米的大塑像侧墙顶端发现一份明成祖永乐二十年(1387年)的大布告。这是目前所见最大的古代布告之一,弥足珍贵。布告纵94.5、横276厘米。白麻纸,版刻墨印。每版印成一纸,第一纸横95、第二纸横89、第三纸横92厘米,三纸粘连成一张大布告(图版捌:上)。每纸上方有一纸制提纽,似为张挂所用
