During grafting, rootstocks and scions each produce callus at the interface to integrate the two. Therefore, controlling suitable conditions and ensuring the formation of callus is the key to grafting survival. In the rootstock and scion robust, there is a certain humidity to maintain anvil, spike moisture conditions, the temperature has become a major factor affecting graft healing. However, the temperature difference required for callus formation of different tree species is quite different. For example, apples, peaches and pears produce callus at 15 ° C, while the callus generally required by walnuts is about 28 ° C. The purpose of this experiment is to understand the suitable temperature for the formation of the calli in the fruit of Xanthoceras sorbifolia and provide the basis for determining the optimal timing of the grafting.
