一、绪言 日本平安朝中期女作家紫式部所著《源氏物语》,是世界文学史上最早出现的长篇叙事小说。它完成于日本宽弘5年(1008)或略早一点。《源氏物语》一向被誉为日本古代“物语文学”的最高峰。它比我国早期小说《三国演义》、《水浒传》以及欧洲长篇小说的先驱《十日谈》还要早上三到四个世纪。“物语”一词,是日本固有的名词,并非自中国引进,意思相当于“故事”。根据情况,有时也可以翻译作“传奇”或“传记”等。世界闻名的这部小说,竟然出自日本平安朝中期一位中等贵族妇女之手,出现在一个直到公元8世纪才按引进的汉字创造出自己的文字“仮名”和“国字”的
I. INTRODUCTION The “Genji Monogatari,” written by the Japanese writer Kim Tae-min, a woman writer in the mid-term of Ping An, is the earliest long story narrative novel in the history of world literature. It was completed in Japan wide Hiroshi 5 years (1008) or slightly earlier. “Tale of Genji” has always been praised as Japan’s ancient “Story language” peak. It is three to four centuries ahead of the early ten novels in China, The Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Water Margin and the pioneer of European novels.
