对深圳市台湾草、马尼拉草景观草坪进行的研究表明，建植时施用有机肥可以简化管理并提高草坪质量；两种草的高度、密度均较适宜；马尼拉草的色泽、均匀度均优于台湾草；两种草的冬季色泽可以通过灌水施肥达到理想水平；适当地利用有利于控制两种草的高度和维持平整度。
The research on the lawn of Taiwan grass and Manila grass in Shenzhen city showed that the application of organic manure could simplify the management and improve the lawn quality at the time of planting. The height and density of the two grass species were more suitable. The color and uniformity of Manila grass were better than Taiwan grass; winter grass color of both species can reach the ideal level by irrigation and fertilization; proper utilization of the grass is conducive to the control of both the grass and maintain the flatness.
