基于全矢量有限元法,设计了一种新型零色散波长为1550nm的高非线性双折射光子晶体光纤(PCF),并分析了PCF的有效折射率、有效模面积、双折射、非线性系数以及色散特性。数值结果表明,当光纤包层孔间距Λ为1.6μm,大空气孔直径d1为1.4μm,小空气孔直径d2为0.74μm和0.76μm时,光纤的零色散波长都在1550nm处,该PCF的双折射为4.049×10-3,非线性系数可达28.4km-1·W-1。这种高非线性高双折射PCF,在1550nm通信波段具有非常广泛的应用前景。
A new type of highly nonlinear birefringent photonic crystal fiber (PCF) with zero dispersion wavelength of 1550 nm was designed based on the full vector finite element method. The effective refractive index, effective mode area, birefringence, nonlinear coefficient of PCF and Dispersion characteristics. The numerical results show that the zero-dispersion wavelength of optical fiber is at 1550nm when the distance Λ is 1.6μm, the diameter d1 is 1.4μm and the diameter d2 is 0.74μm. Birefringence 4.049 × 10-3, the nonlinear coefficient of up to 28.4km-1 · W-1. This high nonlinear birefringence PCF has a very wide range of applications in the 1550nm communication band.
