It has long been known that active leukopenia (SLE) leukopenia, but its clinical and pathogenetic significance remains to be further studied. The authors studied 16 patients with active SLE, 11 patients with inactive SLE, and 16 healthy individuals with peripheral blood lymphocytes. The number of T cells was examined with sheep red knot test, and the number of B cells was calculated as sheep rosette in the presence of complement and mediator.
