杨福家小时候很调皮,初中时甚至被学校退学。他很庆幸自己高中进入上海格致中学读书。杨福家说,格致中学给了他人生两件最宝贵的东西:一是成为有梦想、有追求的人;二是培养了学习和后来做学问的兴趣。1997年,杨福家个人出资在母校格致中学设立了一项奖学金,许多人提议命名为“杨福家物理奖”,他没有同意,最终命名为“爱国奖”。 Yang Fu was very naughty childhood, junior high school or even dropped out of school.
