红内期伯氏疟原虫用甘油和二甲基亚砜作为保护剂液氮内保存。以复苏后出血感染小白鼠后虫血症最早出现的时间为指标,对其冷冻速度、不同的保存时间、复苏后感染动物的方式以及5%、10%甘油和10%二甲基亚砜三种保护剂的保存效果进行了观察。结果表明,一步法和二步法冷冻两者不显示明显的差异;疟原虫冷冻53周与冷冻一周的保存效果一致;复苏后虫血直接注射于小白鼠优于经洗涤后注射;50%、10%甘油和10%二甲基亚砜均可做为伯氏疟原虫的冷冻保护剂,而以5%甘油为优。
