在我国走向现代化的过程中,基础教育应当为实现人的现代化进行实质性准备。然而基础教育所传承的某些极左与冷战思维、片面的历史观,如非敌即友的二分式思维、对重要历史事件的片面叙述以及填鸭式灌输的教学方式、大量非此即彼的判断题训练致使学生思维僵化,现实行为出现较大偏差。为此,应当以人的现代化发展作为推进基础教育改革的理论指导,彻底清除极左与冷战思维的影响,以人为本推动教材编写与教学改革,培养学生现代公民所需要的品行素质。
