外贸英语函电是一门集外贸业务知识和英语书面表达为一体的实用性英语课程。然而,传统的语法翻译教学方法已不能满足培养外贸专业人才的要求。案例教学法突出学生在教学中的主体地位,能够让学生直接参与实践,是提高函电教学效果的有效途径。本文通过分析我国外贸函电课程的现状,从理论基础、案例设计环节及实证分析应用三方面探讨了如何在外贸函电教学中运用案例教学法,以达到较好的教学效果。
Foreign trade English correspondence is a collection of foreign trade business knowledge and English written expression as one of practical English courses. However, the traditional teaching methods of grammar translation can no longer meet the requirements of training foreign trade professionals. The case teaching method emphasizes students’ dominant position in teaching and enables students to directly participate in the practice, which is an effective way to improve the effectiveness of correspondence teaching. Based on the analysis of the status quo of China Foreign Trade Correspondence Courses, this article discusses how to apply case teaching method in foreign trade correspondence teaching to achieve better teaching effects from three aspects: theoretical basis, case design and empirical analysis.
