意象是中国古代重要的美学范畴,从“象”的范畴发展而来。墨分五色,以玄色代替天下万物之色的表现方式,是中国画本身就含有意象性特色的物质基础。集诗、书、画、印于一体,并且相得益彰,这种综合性构成特征是凸显其意象性艺术特色的外在表现,也是其意象性特征的构成基础。以意造形、以意造境、得意忘象的造型观念是中国画具有意象性特征的精神支撑,同时也包含了这一特征的特定内在要求。
Imagery is an important category of aesthetics in ancient China, evolving from the category of “image ”. It is a material basis for the Chinese painting itself to contain the imagery characteristics by dividing the ink into five colors and substituting the black color for the color of all things in the world. The poetry, the book, the painting, and the printing are combined together and complement each other. This comprehensive compositional feature is the external manifestation of the artistic characteristic of its imagery and the basis of its imagery characteristics. The concept of modeling, which is intended to shape, intention to create, and to forget the elegance, is the spiritual support of the imaginative features of Chinese painting and also contains the specific intrinsic requirements of this feature.
