核桃是我省的重要经济树种,栽培面积达250万亩。由于长期采用种子繁殖,致使结果晚、产量低、品质差。目前我省正采用优种穗条进行嫁接繁殖,使核桃生产逐步走向品种化、良种化栽培。为了解优系的生长结果习性,我们从1985—1987年连续3年对不同类型的两个核桃无性系生长结果习性与抗性作了初步观察和调查,进而为了解品种特性和科学管理幼树提供依据。一、试验地概况试验地设在汾阳县核桃种子园,地处黄土丘陵区,土层深厚,土壤 pH 值为8.4,有机质含量0.647克/100克,全氮0.078克/100克,水解氮2.79毫克/100克,速效磷10.45ppm,速效钾11.0ppm。海拔998米,年平均降水量424.4毫米,无霜期约177天左右。
