现代化国际性城市是具有较强经济实力，能够较大规模集聚与扩散国际经济能量，对全球经济发展有一定影响力的城市，具有多功能与强辐射等特征。内陆国际性城市是技术转移和产业结构调整的产物。提高我国内陆大城市经济增长的质量与效益，提高其产业的市场化、国际化和高度化，是使其成为国际性城市的关键。
The modern international city is characterized by its strong economic strength, its ability to gather and spread large-scale international economic energy on a large scale and its influence on global economic development with its multi-functional and strong radiation. Inland and international cities are a product of technology transfer and industrial restructuring. Improving the quality and efficiency of the economic growth of the inland metropolitan cities and increasing the marketization, internationalization and elevation of their industries are the keys to becoming an international city.
