Studying the spatial distribution of pests not only reveals the spatial characteristics of the population, but also plays an important role in determining data substitution and corresponding sampling techniques as well as improving the quality of reportage and prevention and control techniques. Cnaphalocrocis medinalis Guenee is a major pest in the rice planting area of our county, and the damage tends to be aggravating in recent years. The current control index and the determination of occurrence are based on the number of larvae, but young larvae are not easy to find, affecting the accuracy of their investigations. In order to accurately grasp the occurrence of rice leaf roller in the field, and to better guide the prevention and treatment, therefore, we are exploring the amount of eggs in the field as a threshold to determine the degree of occurrence and prevention and control targets
