在构建社会主义和谐社会新时期,社会主义核心价值体系作为社会主义社会的主导价值观,最大限度地体现了社会的多元诉求,具有积极化解矛盾的重要功能。“无直接利益冲突”矛盾是当前社会矛盾中一个新的苗头。要化解这种矛盾,消除这个苗头,最重要的是要发挥社会主义核心价值体系的引领作用,从马克思主义指导思想、中国特色社会主义共同理想、民族精神和时代精神、社会主义荣辱观四个方面,强化社会主义核心价值体系的整合力和引领力,使民众情绪沿着理性的轨道健康发展。
