我省农村机电排灌泵站的启动充水,不论规模大小与台数多少,凡使用卧式水泵的,几乎全采用1～2台水环式真空泵抽气充水。这对节省劳力、减轻机手的劳动强度,成效十分显著。但在使用过程中,由于缺乏必要的技术知识,经常发生如下两种故障:第一、启动真空泵后长时间不能抽气充水,影响主机水泵正常启动。不少机手以为真空泵失灵,要求调换。实际上这是因为进气管道上未装补给水箱所致。必须知道:真空泵在运行中所以能抽气,主要是泵内要保持一定体积的水环,如水环在工作过程中水量损耗、体积减小,就会出现不能正常抽气充水的故障现象。
