江西省是我国东南部资源丰富、经济相对落后的省份。近几年来,经济虽有较大发展,但与先进省份相比,差距仍然很大,并且还有继续扩大的趋势。造成这种情况有多方面的原因,其中很重要的就是城镇经济落后,城镇的作用没有充分发挥出来。城镇是地域经济、社会发展的产物,是一定地域范围内经济、政治和人民精神生活的中心。如何充分发挥城镇的功能和作用,逐步形成以城镇为中心的各种规模和各种类型的经济区,以推动城乡一体化,实现经济社会的协调发展,是振兴江西经济的重要一环。本文拟从城镇现状的分析入手,初步探讨江西省的城镇发展战略问题,以期抛砖引玉。 Jiangxi Province is a province rich in resources and relatively backward economy in southeastern China. In recent years, though the economy has made great progress, its gap with the advanced provinces is still huge and there is still a tendency to continue to expand. There are many reasons for this situation. One of the most important is that the urban economy is backward and the role of cities and towns is not fully brought into play. Cities and towns are the product of regional economy and social development and are the centers of economic, political and people’s spiritual life within a certain geographical area. How to give full play to the functions and roles of cities and towns and gradually form various sizes and various types of economic zones centered on cities and towns so as to promote the integration of urban and rural areas and achieve the coordinated development of economy and society is an important part of rejuvenating Jiangxi’s economy. This article intends to start with the analysis of the status quo in cities and towns, and initially discusses the strategy of urban development in Jiangxi Province, with a view to initiating the project.
