宋元城市经济的繁荣,推动了南戏从农村走向城市。南戏艺人通过勾栏演剧、路歧演剧、厅宅演剧和祭祀演剧的四种方式,在城市的演剧市场立稳脚跟。而当南戏成为一种输入性的文化消费品之后,它的组织方式也由原来封闭式的自组自演,转为富有商业气息的主动营销,艺术形态也突破早期的简陋格局,呈现驳杂、融通的聚合式形态,同时兼容城市底层和知识阶层两种不同类型的消费文化,凸显出双重文化的表现特征。
The prosperity of the urban economy in the Song and Yuan dynasties propelled Nanxi to move from the countryside to the cities. Southern opera entertainer through the hook bar drama, road show drama, hall drama and sacrificial show four ways to establish a firm foothold in the city’s drama market. When Nanxi became a kind of imported cultural consumer goods, its organization mode changed from a closed-end self-organization to a commercial atmosphere of active marketing. The art form also broke through the primitive and simple pattern of the early times and presented a complicated and accommodating Aggregate form, while compatible with the bottom of the city and the intellectual class two different types of consumer culture, highlighting the dual cultural performance characteristics.
