The relationship between gravity flow deposition and mineral resources (especially oil and gas resources) is an important part of gravity flow sedimentation research. Based on the results of core observation, thin slice identification, well log facies analysis and seismic data interpretation, the types of gravity flow deposits and the plane market of Jiufotang Formation in the southern part of Luodong Sag were studied. It is considered that the Lower Cretaceous Jiufotang Formation in the Luodong depression is generally a set of semi-deep lacustrine mudstone-shale oil source. The gravity flow-deposited subaqueous fan sandstone sandwiched between shale deposits constitutes a good reservoir Floor. Gravity flow sediment types are debris flow, high-density turbidity and low-density turbidity, the plane distribution of underwater fans. The main development in the study area fan and outer fan subphase, fan can be divided into the medial foraminous channel and the outer edge of the two microfacies. The middle fan channel consists of debris flow and high-density turbidity flow, and the outer fan of middle fan consists of high-density turbidity flow and low-density turbidity flow. In the study area, 63% of the oil layer is composed of frond sandstone, and 32% of the oil layer is composed of channel sandstone. Frond sandstone has the characteristics of high porosity, high permeability and low drainage pressure, which is the best reservoir; followed by channel sandstone. Subaqueous fan sandstone reservoir properties are not affected by shale content but are significantly affected by carbonate cements. The conclusion drawn is of great significance to the further exploration and development of oil and gas in this area.
