新城疫病毒(Newcastle disease virus,NDV)可导致急性和高度致死性禽类传染病,严重危害世界养禽业。膜融合是NDV发挥毒力的第一步,血凝素-神经氨酸酶(Hemagglutinin-neuraminidase,HN)发挥促细胞融合作用,协助融合蛋白(Fusion protein,F)介导完成膜融合这一过程。本文从HN蛋白的结构和功能入手,对HN蛋白头部、头-颈连接区及颈部在促细胞融合机制中的作用进行综述与讨论,以期为深入研究NDV的致病机制,进一步研发新型药物和疫苗提供新的思路。
Newcastle disease virus (NDV) can cause acute and highly lethal poultry disease and seriously endanger the world poultry industry. Membrane fusion is the first step in the virulence of NDV. Hemagglutinin-neuraminidase (HN) plays a role in promoting cell fusion and assists fusion protein (F) -mediated membrane fusion . In this paper, the structure and function of HN protein are reviewed. The roles of HN protein head, head-neck junction region and neck in promoting cell fusion are reviewed and discussed. In order to further study the pathogenesis of NDV and to further develop a novel Drugs and vaccines provide new ideas.
