卡孕栓是以卡前列甲酯为主要成份的栓制剂,合并丙酸睾丸酮使用具有抗早孕之功效。方法是开始3天肌注丙酸睾丸酮,每日1次,每次100毫克;第4天每2小时在阴道后穹窿放置卡孕栓1毫克,最多用药6毫克,直至排出绒毛和胎囊。经用于201例小于56天的早孕妇女,完全流产157例,占78.1％;不完全流产25例,占12.4％;总有效率为90.6％,除3％的使用者有重度副反应外,其余的均取得满意效果。
