The West Coast of the 1960s became a rock and roll music hub, with Los Angeles and Southern California famous for their bright sunshine and surfing. There, a relatively quiet rock music called surf rock and deep loved by people. Boys on the beach sang “Surf the USA,” “California Girls,” and “Lok, Le, Le” these songs, which aroused people’s desire and pursuit of a better life in California. In the late 1960s, San Francisco became the center of rock music and youth, when the Vietnam War, student protests, popular hippies and drug abuse.
