华蜜8号西瓜抗性强,适应性广,在低温、弱光和阴雨条件下能正常座果,所以,除作露地栽培外,还可作早熟大棚、日光温室等保护地栽培和秋延后栽培,也可与麦、棉、油、春菜和幼果林间套种。各种栽培方式的播种时间可因当地栽培设施和茬口情况而定。
