本研究从教育心理学中引入目标倾向理论,研究我国英语专业大学生英语学习中的目标倾向与学习策略的关系。本研究主要通过问卷的方法调查了185名英语专业二年级学生的目标倾向和学习策略的情况。统计分析得出如下结论:MGO能够预测记忆、认知、补偿、元认知和社会策略的使用,PGO能够预测浅层、补偿、元认知、情感、社会策略的使用,TGO能够预测浅层、认知、补偿、元认知和情感策略的使用。本文还将研究结果和关于非英语专业学生的研究结果作了比较。
This study introduces the theory of target orientation from the educational psychology to study the relationship between the target tendency and learning strategies of English majors in our country. In this study, we surveyed 185 second-year English majors’ target preferences and learning strategies through questionnaires. Statistical analysis concluded that MGO was able to predict the use of memory, cognition, compensation, metacognition and social strategies. PGO was able to predict the use of shallow, compensatory, metacognitive, emotional and social strategies. TGO was able to predict shallow , Cognition, compensation, use of metacognitive and affective strategies. The paper also compares the results of the study with those of non-English majors.
