一、前言应用光学可分为两个部类。一是能源光学,凡以利用光能为主的照明、加热、光致核聚变、激光炮、致盲武器等皆属之。一是信息光学,这是把光作为信息的载体,对这样的信息进行存储、传递、加工、再现的技术学科。军用光学仪器的研究,和一般光学仪器一样,是以信息光学为主的技术。诸如成象、光通信,测距、光制导、跟踪等不胜枚举。当然两者是互相渗透互相依赖的。例如研究光通信技术,不能不考虑效率高的适合的光源。研究激光武器,不能不研究作为信息处理的自适应光学。自觉地认识两者的区分和联系,对于发展应用光学的研究,有指导意义。用信息科学指导光学仪器的研究,也有利于信息科学的发展。
