自古以来,中国民间流传、散落的凤仙花(Impatiens balsamina,L.)品种很多,不少珍奇品种堪称花卉瑰宝。可惜有些品种已绝种失传。清朝乾隆年间著名本草学家赵学敏著的《凤仙谱》中,载有183个附带性状描述的凤仙花珍品,如今能寻得见的,已属凤毛麟角。笔者家族数代人不辍于凤仙花的栽培、杂交育种及种质资源的保护和繁衍,终使有些精粹品种不绝于世,继而新品迭出。现将部分 Since ancient times, there are many varieties of impatiens balsamina (L.)
