A new generation of migrant workers born in the 1980s faces a completely different choice from their fathers: the rural areas can not afford to go back and live, and the cities can not keep their livelihoods. They are free from the urban and rural areas, become rootless groups, become a veritable “sandwich layer.” It is a huge and potentially destructive factor that may affect the construction of a harmonious society. In recent years, there have been a number of non-resident-oriented groups in cities Sexual incidents are obvious examples and must be given high priority by party and government departments at all levels.
