电致发光显示器是将绝缘层和发光层两边的电极结合在一起,其中有一边的电极是透明的,一旦在两边电极上加上电压,器件就发光。电致发光器件有两种:有机电致发光和薄膜电致发光,目前有机电致发光的应用范围受到限制。预期这类产品可用到测量/控制,文字处理和医用电子仪器上。目前许多等离子体显示器制造厂家都在大力研制薄膜电致发光显示板,然而,只有夏普公司能大量生产各种尺寸的薄膜电致发光显示板。
Electroluminescent display is the insulating layer and the light-emitting layer on both sides of the electrode together, including one side of the electrode is transparent, once the electrodes on both sides of the voltage, the device glows.
