一、概述众所周知,在生产沸腾钢时,为获得足够坚壳带厚度,要求浇铸过程钢水应有良好的沸腾。但在铸毕后如果让这一沸腾持续下去任其发展,则不仅使元素偏析大大发展恶化了钢锭头部质量,而且钢锭头部上涨严重,势必增加切损降低收得率。因此,“沸腾”要适可而止,这就要采用封顶操作。封顶的实质是采用机械或化学方法使钢锭头部迅速凝固。封顶的目的是: 1.抑制模内钢流运动,从而抑制元素偏析的发展。
