Ralph Boston
Sports Performance Researchers at the Sports Science Laboratory at Darwin University have observed, tested and researched various human sports performances. Because of the complexities that run through the achievements of human beings in sports, engaging in this research is a daunting and complex task. Sports achievements depend not only on human talent, but also on factors such as knowledge, opportunities, emotions, intelligence, and environmental conditions. Before 1850, there were few international sports records. Some of the sport’s achievements since then have been steadily improving, one of which is the 8.9-meter world record by Bob Beamon at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City. This record is better than previous record holder Ralph Boston
