Most of the early works of Elizabeth Jolie (1923-2007) were mostly meta novels-novels about fiction. On the one hand, she gives a vivid and detailed description of the female’s life so that readers can feel her story is completely true. On the other hand, she always uses the features of metafiction, especially the narrative frame, to make readers believe the story’s fiction So as to enjoy the story of a woman who has been told or repressed or seen as a forbidden zone and even set foot on some of the most deviant topics and to avoid the ethical and moral criticism directed directly at her from an orthodox reader. Her metafictional narrative won some public discourse for her hostess and laid the foundations of her best female liars in Australia.
