In American contemporary art, Joe Zucker is an unidentifiable artist whose works have both the dual characteristics of installation and painting. Due to his varied artistic style, it is difficult to categorize him exactly as a contemporary Art genre. And he again with his own unique artistic creation, affecting a large number of artists, has a wide range of influence among peers and a new generation of artists. This article combines Zucker’s writing with the specific environmental sections of American art in the late 1960s and early 1970s and examines his further development in the 1980s and 1990s.
