罗辛在《中国歌剧形式问题初探》(《戏剧》1986年第三期)一文中认为:中国歌剧的形式,不能提以中国戏曲和西洋歌剧为基础,创作中向土偏或向洋偏都可以。关于此问题,文章提出三点:一、在编写古代、近代、神话题材的剧本时,可以采用词曲体的歌词。在编写民间传说和地方色彩很强烈鲜明的剧本时,可以采用民歌、民谣体。在编写现代题材的剧本时,就应用新诗。二、中国歌剧应视作戏剧(文学)的音乐化,而不是音乐的戏剧
