Twins have a higher risk of infantile hemangiomas (IH), but the pathogenesis is not clear. The authors assess the risk of developing IH in the twins by assessing their incidence. A prospective cohort study was conducted in 12 children’s medical centers in the United States, Canada, Argentina and Spain that included the history of preg- nanous pregnancies, family history, and pregnancy-related factors in mothers with twin pregnancies. Twin infants study includes weight at birth, gestational age (GA) and so on. RESULTS: The IH rate of concurrent or non-productive IH in 202 twin infants and young children enrolled in the study was 37%, and their concordance was negatively correlated with GA. In the performance of inconsistent twins in children, the lower the weight, the incidence
