新太县西周河渡槽全长877米,除槽身拉杆、侧墙与底板拼缝处和主拱圈隔板布置有钢筋外,其余均系素混凝土,设计流量6.9米~3/秒,1978年施工完成,经过三年多运行,并受多次6～8级大风考验,完整无损。渡槽每孔净跨20米,主拱圈为双曲拱形式,矢跨比1/6,主拱圈上设有4个素混凝土排架柱,柱距4.24米,排架柱上设有5节矩形素混凝土槽身,槽身底板为1/10矢跨比的微弯板,两侧槽板与槽身底板分开预制,现场拼装,节约了大量三材
