孙××,男性,68岁。住院号2000。患者因糖尿病于1972年12月20日住入本市某医院治疗。1973年1月28日起患者有发热,体温波动于39～40℃,伴有咳嗽及白色泡沫样痰。2月4日出现头痛,体温高达41℃。X线胸透:两肺门阴影增深,右肋膈角积液。2月5日体检时发现颈项强直,即作腰穿。脑脊液:混、灰白色。白细胞数1,170,嗜中性92％,潘氏试验(+)。涂片找到脑膜炎双球菌。同日转来我院。
