剪纸是我国民间艺术的一个品种。过去,信奉佛教的傣族老百姓,就以剪纸作为“赕佛”的用品,所以,傣族的剪纸艺术早在民间普遍流行,许多民间艺人和傣族妇女都善于剪制。剪纸的形式多样,造型别致,构图饱满,主体突出,生动耐看,尤其以金纸剪成的作品更为光彩华丽,形成了傣族特有的艺术风格。这些剪纸虽用于赕佛,但题材却以农村生活中常见的瓜果、家禽、蔬菜和亚热带动植物为主,故有浓厚的生活气息。 Paper-cut is a species of folk art in our country. In the past, the Dai people in Buddhism used paper-cut as their supplies.
