我厂铸铁车间系从事单件小批生产,铸件品种多,铸铁牌号有普通灰铸铁、高强度铸铁(抗拉强度为28公斤/毫米~2)、球墨铸铁、各种耐热合金铸铁等。铸件特点是壁薄(最小壁厚仅3毫米)而长(如省煤器管最长达3.6米),大多数铸件除须符合化学成分与物理性能要求外,尚须经25~40公斤/毫米~2水压试验。因此,对冲天炉熔炼工作要求很高。强化冲天炉熔炼的主要目的是:在获得最适当的高温铁水的条件下提高生产率、延长连续工作时间、增加冲天炉热效率、保证化学成分、减少金属烧损、降低燃料消耗。
