On November 28, 2012, the 5th China Embroidery Festival opened in Zhenhui, a lakeside town in Suzhou which is hailed as the “hometown of Chinese embroidery”. Among invited guests, there was a special group which consists of ambassadors and their wives and cultural and economic counselors from foreign embassies in Beijing.
