一个月以前,即十月五日至七日,中国文学艺术界联合会第二届全国委员会举行了三天会议。与会的同志们,就目前文学艺术创作和领导工作中存在的问题,展开了热烈的批评和讨论。会议在分组讨论的时候,戏剧组也连续举行了三次座谈。戏剧组的座谈和大会有关戏剧方面的发言中,涉及到当前戏剧工作中的许多重要问题。关於戏曲的演剧艺术改革问题,在讨论中也引起了大家的兴趣。限于时间,这次的讨论并没有充分展开。但是,把讨论中已经达到的理解介绍出来,以引起大家的重视,并由此引起进一步的深入的讨论,是很有必要、很有好处的。怀着这样的愿望,记者整理出这样一篇综合报导。应当声明,文中徵引了许多戏剧家的发言!根据的是两份不完整的记录材料,其中可能有与发言者的原话有出入的地方,没有一一送请原发言者校正;如有错误,应由记者负责。
